Introducing our refurbished service in Littlehampton and new services in Camberley and  Newport

At Consensus we are passionate about providing the right support and accommodation for people with learning disabilities, autism and additional complex needs including Prader-Willi Syndrome. We are proud of our relationships with local commissioners and continuously speak with them about the requirements in the local area with the intention of providing greater independence, choice and control for individuals with complex needs.

As well as investing in completely new services to meet local need, which we have done with our new supported living service in Camberley, Surrey ‘Upper Park Road’, we also re-invest and re-develop services to meet local needs, which you can see with our latest refurbished service in Littlehampton, West Sussex ‘Strawberry Fields’. We also look at our current services and where it is determined that the building is no longer fit for purpose, the team will look to invest in a new development in the same area that is better able to meet the needs of the individuals we support, a recent example of this has been the development of ‘Ty Cwtch’ in Caerleon, Newport.

“The Strawberry Fields project was about rethinking a traditional model of care that wasn’t working. Thinking creatively about how we could adapt the service to meet the needs of existing individuals as well as meet future local needs.”

Guy Page – Head of Development and Partnerships for Wales and South
