Supported living enhances independence while maintaining support
Supported Living allows people with learning disabilities, autism and additional complex needs, including Prader-Willi Syndrome, to live their life more independently. We offer a range of supported living services across the U.K. including in Bedfordshire, Essex, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Manchester, Northamptonshire, Suffolk, Surrey and Wales. Our supported living accommodation offers single and shared self contained flats, enabling individuals to experience a greater level of independence.
What is Supported Living?
Our supported living services are ideally suited to people who have developed more independent living skills and this may include people who are ready to move on from a residential service. Supported living services suit people who need extra help with daily living tasks and to participate fully in their local community, but who don’t need full residential support.
The individuals we support all receive a tailored support package to meet their needs. This could translate into a support worker being on-site or visiting the individuals at their accommodation at agreed times. In order to offer a completely bespoke solution, we also work with housing partners to develop options that enable people to live in their own flat with their own tenancies.

Life at Consensus
Every individual we support has their unique goals and dreams. What each person does will be unique to them. We spend time listening to, and understanding, each person we support and their family. We learn about what’s important to them, what their needs and wants are and what goals they’d like to achieve.
Over time our services have evolved so that we can offer a wide range of quality residential, supported living and transition services to meet bespoke needs. We invest time, resources and expertise in ensuring that a new setting is exactly right for an individual – always involving them in that process.
Meet our PBIT Team
Our Positive Behaviour Intervention Team help lead to positive outcomes for everyone involved. They take a person-centred approach to find out the reason behind an individual’s challenging behaviour and produce support plans and strategies to reduce the behaviour and improve the person’s quality of life.
