Royal Wedding BBQ

June 9, 2011

People from Consensus services across the region came together to celebrate the Royal Wedding at King Edwards Grove service, in Teddington.

Staff and the people they support had been looking forward to the event ever since the happy couple announced the date, and everyone was involved in putting up bunting and decorating the service with Union Jacks.

Over 30 people from The Grove, Bear Road and Hampton Road services came together to celebrate William and Kate’s big day, with a garden party at King Edwards Grove.

As well as enjoying a delicious barbeque, which attendees made light work of, revellers got to take part in favourite pastimes such as dancing, table tennis and pool.

The celebration was a fantastic opportunity for people from different services to catch up with old chums and make new friends.
