PWS Services raise an amazing amount for the PWSA
Consensus are delighted to share that our Gretton PWS Services, based in Northamptonshire raised an amazing £2,160.00 for the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association UK, through hosting their annual raffle, which took place on the afternoon of the 18th September at Gretton House.
Successfully supporting people with Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS), a lifelong condition; is vital from a young age, whether they remain at home or go on to live in specialist support settings.
Consensus work closely with the PWSA in their support for parents and raising awareness of PWS and are pleased to regularly support and organise fundraising activities for them.
We are also proud to sponsor a key event this October, ‘Positive approaches to diet and behaviour for children with PWS’. With key contributions from PWS specialists the day will explore how to create an environment in which children with PWS can thrive.
Heartfelt thanks go to our colleagues, friends and suppliers, including Paul Jeffery, CEO of Caring Homes Group, Rob Jeffery and Adrian Parker for arranging some very generous prize donations. We would also like to extend our thanks to John Clark at John Clark Services as well as Andrew Peck at Safety Solutions for their generous cash donations.
Thank you to the many wonderful volunteers and colleagues, Bonnie Ghavami, Lisa Naylor, Amber Powell (partner of Dave Wright our Manager at Perrywood House) and Kathryn Clarke for sourcing/donating several additional wonderful prizes.
Thank you also to Carole Jackson at Rushton Hall, Emma Jones at Corby Cube, Mandy Chody and Jean Fisher-Taylor for their very generous contributions to the raffle.
A huge well done to all colleagues and volunteers who sold and purchased tickets.
