Local Mayor joins in the Christmas Festivities at Frinton House
On Tuesday, 17th December, Manager Emily Ruiz, her team and the supported individuals at Frinton House, in Bexhill on Sea, East Sussex, were delighted to have local Mayor, Kathy Harmer join them for their annual Christmas party.
On arrival, the Mayor was impressed to be greeted at the door by the smiling faces of the supported individuals and the Frinton House team who lined up ready to welcome her to their home and to present her with a stunning orchid.
Consensus Managing Director, Eddie Morgan and Head of HR, Anja Carter also attended the festivities along with several other Consensus Colleagues and many of the supported individual’s family and friends.
During the celebrations, the supported individuals and guests enjoyed playing games, taking part in a drumming session and singing Christmas Carols and karaoke.
The Mayor had a fabulous time, commenting, “The atmosphere was very special and uplifting. The Filipino style food was amazing, made by the staff. We were there a couple of hours and had a great time. Thank you very much Emily and your team, you are awesome.”
The Christmas party was the perfect way to celebrate what has been a successful and rewarding year for Emily, her team and the individuals they support at Frinton House.
Invited by East Sussex Forum to talk about their achievements and how as a team they have become one of the best homes in the area, Emily says she couldn’t have done this without her team and the support of the wider Consensus support network. As well as providing exceptional care and support Frinton House and the individuals they support fully embrace life in their community and have received an environmental award for cleaning the beach and participating in Bexhill in Bloom. Regulars on the walks for health they really are enjoying all that life has to offer locally as well as at home.
