Links Day Centre Shortlisted For National Learning Disability & Autism Awards 2016
We are delighted to announce that the team at Links Day Centre in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, which provides day care for individuals with learning disabilities and additional needs, has been shortlisted for the Making a Difference Award in this year’s National Learning Disability and Autism Awards.
The National Learning Disabilities & Autism Awards celebrate excellence in the support for people with learning disabilities and aim to pay tribute to those individuals or organisations who excel in providing quality care.
Judging will take place on the 25th May 2016 followed by a Gala event being held at the ICC, Birmingham on Thursday 14th July 2016.
Speaking on behalf of the team Julie Cariga, Manager at the Links Day Centre, said: “We are totally committed to achieving more positive outcomes for those who need our support. We are driven to provide a better quality of life for the people who use the centre, as well as those who care for them. This announcement recognises the team’s hard work and dedication in seeking out new opportunities wherever they exist and we are very excited to be shortlisted for such a prestigious award.”
