Margaret wins top award as Manager of the Year
Margaret Elliott, who is Service Manager of Heatherington House in Kettering, has scooped a top award this week at the Caring Homes Group Recognition Awards.
With over 5,500 employees across the group Margaret beat off stiff competition to be crowned Manager of the Year for Consensus, part of the Caring Homes Group. The awards were presented at a glittering ceremony hosted within the Grove Hotel in Watford and presented by Ronan Keating.
Margaret, manages a service which provides support and accommodation for eight people with Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS).
Following a review of over 3,000 nominations received from colleagues for the awards, it was felt that Margaret has and continues to consistently show herself to be an outstanding Manager. Her enthusiasm, boundless energy, grit and determination to do what is right by those she supports and manages is a great example to all.
She embeds the ‘Consensus Values’ not only at Heatherington House but also in her wider involvement with key external meetings. Her energy and enthusiasm filters through her team and the home is always a happy one to visit where the team and the Supported Individuals make everyone feel very welcome.
Attended by over 340 guests the evening was a great occasion, with colleagues and business partners coming together to celebrate the very best care and support provided by outstanding people.
