Getting ready to explore opportunities and challenges in social care at ADASS Spring Seminar
We will be attending the ADASS Spring Seminar this week and are delighted to be sponsoring the Visual Minutes Zone helping to communicate the story of the Seminar in an inspiring visual way.
We will also be hosting an area where we will be inviting delegates to share their thoughts on the Transforming Care Programme which will again be captured in an equally inspiring way and shared back to attendees’ post Seminar.
The ADASS Conference of National Children and Adult Services is a key event for any organisation or individual involved within the social care and services industry. The event 11th – 13th April, will be held at Yarnfield Park, Conference Centre, and will include a mixture of keynote and expert speakers within the adult, children and education sectors.
The conference provides an ideal opportunity for attendees to participate in teamwork building exercises in order to explore various developments within the adult, children and education sectors. The event also offers opportunities for new policy announcements within the sector, as well as other numerous opportunities to progress various discussions with Ministerial and shadow teams.
A large number of organisations will be exhibiting at the conference, and a strong programme of events will be put into place once again to situate the wider agenda and key topics the conference now addresses.
This year’s programme reflects both the opportunity and the challenge: the Green Paper and the Working Age Adults Strategy; devolution; integration; working with Primary Care; Brexit and our future relationship with the rest of Europe; the media – amongst other issues under the spotlight this week. Many people see the conference as a great opportunity to share innovative new ideas, practical examples and the chance to discuss prospective developments within the various sectors.
