Liz Smith speaks about the challenges of being a nurse during the pandemic

Elizabeth Smith is the Manager at The Gables, our residential service with nursing in Littleport Cambridgeshire, for individuals with a range of support needs, including; complex nursing needs, learning disabilities, mental health needs and palliative care.
We were so proud back in November 2020 when Elizabeth was named ‘Registered Care Nurse 2020’ at the National Care Awards. Since then, Elizabeth has been interviewed by Caring Times magazine for their National Care Awards Supplement about the challenges she has faced in the last year supporting the individuals in her care during a national pandemic.
