Day trip to Sunny Southend on Sea

June 9, 2011

Teddy and Mark, from Rowan House, have been taking advantage of the wonderful weather with a trip to Southend on Sea.

As big fans of the coast and all things nautical, Teddy and Mark really enjoyed the chance to visit the seaside town with support staff.

Highlights of the day included a trip to the fairground, with the Ghost Train ride being a real favourite, and a slap-up fish and chips lunch.

The excursion ended with a bracing walk along England’s longest pier, which has a lovely view over the Kentish coastline.

Trudy Hunter, Manager at Rowan House said,

“Teddy and Matthew had a fantastic time in Southend on Sea and we’re already planning their next seaside sojourn!”
