Consensus Support Services Recognised with a National Award
Leading learning disabilities support provider, Consensus Support Services, has been recognised as the best specialist care provider at the Health Investor Awards 2011.
Over 1000 guests from the UK’s health and social care sector attended the awards, which were hosted by broadcaster Jon Snow, at the Grosvenor House Hotel in Central London last week.
Entries in 21 categories covering both the private and public sectors were judged by a 12-strong panel of independent industry experts and the night was an opportunity for leading figures in the sector to come together to celebrate the positive difference that people in the sector make to the lives of people up and down the country.
Consensus Support Services, part of the Caring Homes Group, supports 500 people in over 80 locations across the UK. With specialist services designed to support each individual’s unique needs, dedicated staff work with all the people we support to provide opportunities that enable them to make their own choices and achieve positive outcomes.
Collecting the Award on behalf of Consensus was Managing Director, James Allen, who commented:
