Working with organisations to inform, educate and offer our expertise

At Consensus, our purpose is to ensure Opportunity, Choice and Success for the individuals we support. We recognised that one of the ways we can do this is to make sure that we are actively involved and at the heart of our local learning disability communities.

We do this by attending events that enable us to participate in the discussion and debate around issues affecting individuals and developments that can make their lives better; to celebrate and honour those who are striving to improve the lives and opportunities for people with learning disabilities and to share our own expertise and experiences on best practice approaches that we use within our services so that these can be used to benefit the wider community.

If you are an individual with a learning disability, or a commissioner, parent, friend or family member involved in finding, support for people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs, there are a whole host of events in the learning disability calendar to keep you up to date, inspired and involved.

Below are just a few we are attending this year, virtually and in person, in 2021.
