Consensus at the Autism Show
This month saw the Consensus team head to the ExCel Centre in London for the largest specialist autism event in the UK.
The Autism Show is a national event dedicated to autism for parents, carers, professionals and individuals on the spectrum. The event attracts around 4,000 people each year looking to find the most up to date information, advice, products and services relating to the support of those with autism.
It was the second time that Consensus had exhibited at the show and the colourful stand certainly made an impact. The design was based on the concept of a spectrum of colours to denote the individuality and unique presentation of everyone we support with autism, and along with the promotional stressballs, proved very popular with visitors.
Amongst others, Autism Consultant ‘Dr Mags’ was on hand to answer questions, offer advice and share best practice in her field of expertise. Such was the success of the event that the team are already looking forward to next year, as Marketing Communications Manager Lynne Adams confirmed:
‘It was great to meet so many professionals, parents and individuals across the two days and to discuss our autism and transition services at this prestigious event. We are already planning our return next year with an even better stand!’
