Clare House trio give new gym seal of approval
Three people supported at Clare House received the star treatment this week as they were invited to open a newly refurbished local gym.
Many of those who live at Clare House attend The Peak, a brand new indoor complex at the heart of the Stirling Sports Village; so when Glen, Hazel and Suzanne were invited to cut the ribbon for the big relaunch, they jumped at the chance.
The three guests of honour were given a guided tour and were duly impressed with the new facilities. Suzanne said ‘The new gym is bigger and better than before. Now there’s much more space’ with Glen adding ‘the new gym is brilliant and the new machines are wicked!’
Everyone else at the Dunblane service is now looking forward to getting to grips with the new facilities, which will further enhance the experience for those who enjoy attending the exercise classes, working out with the gym instructors and using the swimming pool.
Located in Dunblane, Clare House accommodates 13 individuals from all over Scotland and is the first service in Scotland to exclusively support adults with Prader Willi Syndrome.
