Some of the people we support may also express behaviours which others might find challenging.

Situated in walking distance of the lovely Sussex town of Arundel, the service has eight bedrooms spread across the main house, a separate house and flat.

There is a caring, supportive, positive environment at Waterbury House. The team ensure a flexible and pro-active approach to day to day changes to meet the needs of the individuals they support and help them to reach their full potential.

The focus is very much on inclusion and supporting people to lead a meaningful, fulfilling life. Person centred goals and achievements, big and small, are always encouraged as is greater independence and choice on a daily basis. Individuals are encouraged to do as much as possible for themselves in all aspects of daily living to increase confidence and support greater independence.

With good transport links and transport facilities onsite, the team support individuals to enjoy local leisure and social activities which match their interests and goals. This includes swimming at the local lido, going to the gym, bowling, shopping, cinema and restaurants. There are also opportunities to attend the local college.

Support plans are regularly reviewed to ensure that the people we support are living their life in the way they wish to and enjoying activities of their choice.
