Vale House near Bolton consists of six self contained flats providing residential accommodation and nursing support for males with learning disabilities, autism and associated complex needs.

Vale house provides a specialist level of support for individuals with complex needs. It is configured to offer a unique support model to encourage independence but also support social inclusion and access to community engagement.
With a nurse led team and strong support team, there is a person centred approach to help individuals fulfill their potential at their own pace, complemented by positive behavioural strategies and interventions.
The input of our Positive Behaviour Intervention team helps the service focus on building the skills and strategies that individuals need to maintain and build upon their lives in the community.
They are actively encouraged to enjoy activities of their choice and to gain a greater level of independence.
The configuration of the house offers a unique support model which supports independence, but also encourages social interaction and inclusion.
