Vale House is configured to offer a unique support model to encourage independence but also support social inclusion and access to community engagement.

With a nurse led team and strong support team, there is a person centred approach to help individuals fulfil their potential at their own pace, complemented by positive behavioural strategies and interventions.

The input of our Positive Behaviour Intervention team helps the service focus on building the skills and strategies that individuals need to maintain and build upon their lives in the community.

They are actively encouraged to enjoy activities of their choice and to gain a greater level of independence. The service is also situated close to nearby amenities including shops, cafes, bowling and a cinema.

The configuration of the house offers a unique support model which supports independence, but also encourages social interaction and inclusion.

Support is very much tailored to individual’s needs. The focus is on supporting individuals to live as active and meaningful life as possible within the local community and achieve greater independence in line with specific needs.

Transition into the home is carefully planned at the individual’s own pace and we encourage other people living there to share their experiences.
