With a friendly, encouraging team there is a very positive environment at The Pines. The focus is on providing a person centred, inclusive environment, helping individuals with complex challenges to live a meaningful, fulfilling life.

The house is split into two areas which can support individuals requiring intensive support and those who wish to experience more independent living.  There are two spacious dining rooms and lounges and one smaller, quieter lounge supporting people to feel comfortable in the right environment for them.  Friends and family always receive a warm welcome.

There are pleasant communal areas and a large garden and vegetable patch which individuals can actively help to maintain.

Support is tailored to individual’s goals so they can live their life in the way they choose and the team  work closely with them to develop a person centred plan.  They are supported to engage in community life and all the leisure and social amenities within nearby Bury St Edmunds either on their own with support or in groups.

We are very pleased with the care my Father-in-law gets. Always tidy and clean.
He is peaceful and calm and happy. He goes out and does things he has never done before. He has a life he never had before.
