The Gables is a small residential service with nursing in Littleport, near Ely, Cambridgeshire for individuals with a range of support needs, including; complex nursing needs, learning disabilities, mental health needs and palliative care.

There is a warm, homely, positive environment at The Gables. Support workers and nursing colleagues are friendly and approachable and provide the very best personal support and nursing care to individuals with very complex needs.
The team ensure a flexible and pro-active approach and are dedicated to meeting the needs of the individuals they support. Many have worked at the home for a long period of time and are also very supportive of their colleagues. They work hard to establish good relationships with those who are important to the individuals living at The Gables.
Visitors are always warmly welcomed and made to feel at ease when they visit their loved one.
The home has two lounges and an extended dining area which leads into a conservatory. There is also a lovely sunny courtyard and an extended lawn garden at the rear. With two lifts, The Gables can accommodate people with physical disabilities and mobility issues.
A range of activities provide enjoyment and interaction; including live music, painting, bingo and themed parties. Being close to Ely and Cambridge there are lots of opportunities for people to go shopping, to the cinema, bowling or to attend activity centres offering gardening, arts and crafts and cooking. The focus is on supporting people to enjoy their interests and lead a fulfilling life.
A dedicated cook specialises in healthy, nutritional and tasty meals to meet dietary needs and individuals are also involved in menu planning.
