The Farm offers the space and freedom to interact in a safe environment with the support of trained instructors. It combines a flexible programme of activities tailored to different interests and capabilities – including indoor and outdoor pursuits. Caring for the animals on the farm is a big part of the experience.

Everyone is invited to take an active role in the day-to-day responsibilities of running and maintaining the farm. This encourages confidence and responsibility whilst developing social and real life skills all in an exceptional setting. There is also a large horticultural area which enables people to learn about, and get involved in, gardening and growing their own plants and vegetables.

Individuals also have the opportunity to access horse riding lessons, to work with birds of prey, to develop livestock management skills and the chance to take on their own allotment. The Farm also includes fun arts and craft sessions.

With a focus on personal and accredited educational development, the service is a registered ASDAN training centre, offering a wide range of courses and qualifications at different levels, which include Employability, Personal & Social Development and Towards Independence.

Involvement in the local community is also actively encouraged, promoting independence, confidence and self-awareness.
