This includes individuals living in Consensus services or within the local community who are seeking support in a day setting. The Farm offers the space and freedom to interact in a safe environment with the support of trained instructors.

It combines a flexible programme of activities tailored to different interest and capabilities – including indoor and outdoor pursuits. This helps develop teamwork, personal interests and new skill sets in a hands-on, occupational learning environment.  Caring for the animals on the farm is a big part of the experience.

Everyone is invited to take an active role in the day-to-day responsibilities of running and maintaining the farm.   This encourages confidence and responsibility whilst developing social and real life skills all in an exceptional setting. There is also a large horticultural area which enables people to learn about, and get involved in, gardening and growing their own plants and vegetables.

With a focus on personal and accredited educational development, the service is a registered ASDAN qualifications centre, offering a wide range of courses at different levels, which include Employability, Personal & Social Development and Towards Independence.

We also encourage involvement in the local community, promoting independence, confidence and self-awareness whilst out and about, as well as when working on the farm.
