Our new supported living service in Purley, Croydon supports male and female adults who have learning disabilities and who may have autism or other associated complex needs, including behaviours that may be challenging and focuses on Positive Behaviour Support.

Pirlea House provides specialist accommodation and support to individuals who fall within the London Borough of Croydon and surrounding boroughs and the broader South East.

The service is suitable for people stepping down from more secure settings such as hospital environments or moving on from a residential college or residential setting for the first time and are seeking a least restrictive community based option with enhanced support.

With a highly skilled team trained to deliver Person-Centred Active Support, each person has ongoing daily support to ensure they engage in a variety of life activities and opportunities of their choice.

The service also has a Positive Behaviour Support Lead who oversees support strategies to help mitigate challenging behaviour and associated anxieties. Special features and acoustic elements are also in place to help people who are highly sensitive to light and noise.

The apartments are located in a quiet road close to the heart of Purley and Croydon. In walking distance of local amenities and public transport, its location provides a great opportunity for people to have a strong community presence and build social networks.
