Our new, modern supported living service in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire provides support and accommodation for adults with learning disabilities, autism and additional complex needs.

Consisting of 3 ground floor self-contained apartments, the focus is on helping individuals to live an active and independent life within their local community with as much support as they need. Each apartment has its own bedroom, separate bathroom/wet room, kitchen and lounge/dining area.

The service has been developed as a result of need and demand for this type of setting in the local area. It is beneficial for people who are transitioning from a children’s service or college or moving on from a home environment or residential setting and where a supported living service can offer the level of independence they need.

Our strong and dedicated support teams will help the people who live here identify the goals and aspirations they wish to achieve. Support packages will be recommended and tailored to meet people’s individual needs and to help achieve a greater level of independence.

Great importance is placed on helping individuals who live at the home to learn new skills and to take an active interest in the running of their home, including shopping and cooking. This helps improve daily living skills and confidence and allows people to have their own responsibilities, as well as their own hobbies and interests.

Situated within half a mile of Wellingborough town centre and with several public transport links close by, becoming a part of their local community will be easily accessible to the people who live here. Local amenities include leisure facilities, bowling, a cinema, shops, restaurants and many more.
