This service is situated in a pleasant setting and includes eight self-contained one bedroom flats all on the ground floor. The flats are surrounded by woodland and a security gate. There are also communal areas within the home including a kitchen, lounge area and garden.

The team take a flexible, person centred approach supporting individuals to fulfil their goals and aspirations at their own pace. There is a focus on supporting greater independence and helping people develop daily living, social and life skills.

There is real encouragement to try new things at this service. The team actively encourage the individuals living here to take on work placements and to get out and about in the local community.

With good local transport links nearby, this service is located close to local amenities and leisure facilities including shops, a swimming pool, a cinema, cafes and restaurants.

Individuals are also encouraged to do as much as possible for themselves within the home to improve their daily living skills and gain greater independence. This includes cooking and cleaning and having responsibilities within the running of the home.

The overall focus is on supporting individuals to live as active and meaningful life as possible within the local community and achieve greater independence in line with specific needs.

Family and friends are always welcome to visit and join events and activities.
