Moor Lane offers a caring, nurturing and supportive setting. It has eight en-suite bedrooms, two communal lounges and a large garden. The service tends to support younger adults with complex needs including profound and multiple disabilities, autism, mental health difficulties and epilepsy.

Some individuals have physical disabilities and some display behaviours which others might find challenging.

Moor Lane is next to the local train station and major bus routes and is only 15 minutes from both Bristol and all its amenities and the beaches of Weston Super Mare.

The team have established excellent partnerships with local charities, community interest groups and colleges to enable the individuals living at Moor Lane to have as many social, leisure and work opportunities as possible within their local community.

The caring, supportive team encourage individuals to do the things they enjoy such as swimming, bowling, cinema and shopping and to join in the many activities at the home including computer sessions, gardening and therapy sessions.

Visits from friends and family are always welcomed.

Great importance is placed on learning new skills and helping everyone to take an active interest in the running of the home where they have their own responsibilities. This helps improve daily living skills and confidence and as greater independence is achieved, support plans are updated with the individual to maximise their choices and opportunities.
