Holland House is situated in the old village of Corby, Northamptonshire and provides a specialist residential service for adults with Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS).
Recently refurbished, the service provides a comfortable home for four individuals. All bedrooms are en-suite and there is a pleasant lounge, dinning room and outdoor seating area.
With a person centred approach, the focus is very much on supporting individual’s bespoke needs and helping them to live a meaningful, fulfilling life. The team actively encourage people to enjoy activities and hobbies of their choice within the local community, as independently as possible. This includes attending the gym, swimming pool, cinema, ten pin bowling and being part of the community. There are good links to public transport with a train station and bus route a short walk away and the service also has its own transport.
Individuals are involved in the running of the home whether it be re-decorating, helping with the weekly shopping or suggesting menu choices. Developing daily living skills such as cooking and cleaning is also a key focus to help build confidence and greater independence and the team also support people to manage their finances.
Local work and volunteer opportunities are actively encouraged and many individuals also actively raise funds for local charities.
There are regular parties and open days at Holland House which individuals enjoy planning and hosting and family and friends always receive a warm welcome.

Holland House is a fantastic place that saved my daughter’s life.Relative of supported individual - September 2017
It is well organised, kind and gives residents love and stability.
Holland House has recently been refurbished and it now caters for four service users with Prader Willi Syndrome. My daughter has been a service user with Gretton Homes, part of the Consensus Care Group since 2005, living next door to Holland House since 2006. She wanted a change of scenery, but having got on so well with the Manager, who is now overseeing both homes, and staff, she felt a move next door would suit her.Mother of supported individual - October 2016
A couple of days ago, we had the opportunity of visiting Holland House for the first time since its reopening and were very pleased with the overall changes that have been made to give it a fresh and homely appeal. My daughter is settling in very happily in her new home. As we live 150 miles away and cannot visit very often, it gives us great peace of mind to know that our daughter is being so well cared for.
My daughter moved into Holland House on the 1st September 2016. Holland House is staffed by friendly and efficient ladies who really care for their residents. The house is pristine with modern furniture and home entertainment. Our daughter is happy and in excellent spirits. Thank you Holland House.Mother of supported individual - October 2016
