A homely three story Edwardian building, Haydock provides accommodation for eight individuals and all bedrooms are en-suite.
The team are supportive and dedicated to promoting independence and developing individual’s daily living skill such as cleaning, cooking, laundry and decision making.
Regular meetings are held with the individuals we support to discuss all aspects of the home to support greater independence and confidence.
Regular activities take place at Haydock including mosaic classes, arts and crafts and Rag Rug classes to name a few. The focus is on fun, inclusion and developing social skills.
We always support individuals to have new opportunities; some people work at the local builder’s merchants, others enjoy volunteering at the local charity shop and animal shelter.
The service has its own transport enabling the people we support to engage in their local community.
Day trips to the local pool hall, bowling, allotments and swimming pool are popular and there are also good links to public transport close by.
