Our two services in Hampton Road, West London, run by Consensus Support are led by registered managers who ensure a supportive, nurturing setting, designed to feel like a home from home. As an organisation, our ethos is to work closely with people with learning disabilities and complex needs who are seeking support and their families to fully understand their unique needs and the support they require.
Our friendly, committed support teams within each home focus on helping every person to have a meaningful and fulfilling life, both in the home and the local community. They are trained in Positive Behaviour Strategies to support individuals who may display behaviours that can be challenging to ensure that they too have a good quality of life.
Every individual has their own person centred plan based on choices about how they want to live their life and the opportunities which will help them achieve the goals that are important to them. Our support focuses on all aspects of the person’s life; health and well-being, skills development and on-going education, accessing social, leisure and work opportunities and maintaining and building new friendships. Visits from family members are always welcome and there are always lots of activities going on at each home.
Before anyone comes to live in one of our services, we plan a full transition so that they can get used to their new surroundings and meet the other people that live there.
