Some individuals may also have behaviours which others might find challenging.

Situated close to the pretty, small town of Oxted, Grovelands is a traditional farmhouse spread across two floors, with period features and spacious rooms, adjacent to a working farm. Primrose Bank is a separate modern bungalow offering two self-contained flats designed to support two individuals suited to a more independent lifestyle.

Individuals are supported to pursue a programme of activities around their individualised needs and choices.

Situated next to Tandridge Hill Farm, individuals supported at Grovelands can be involved with the farm – caring for the animals and learning about horticulture. They can enjoy a range of volunteer work at the farm and work towards an ASDAN qualification to support employment in the local community.

With a positive, homely feel and a caring, long-standing staff team, individuals develop daily living skills and help with planning, budgeting, shopping and cooking. The focus is on having daily choices, establishing greater independence and achieving goals at the individual’s own pace with support and encouragement.

Individuals can join the local gym and pool, visits to restaurants, local attractions and parks and the service has its own transport. Lots of social activities such as arts and crafts and movie nights also take place at Grovelands and visits from family and friends for tea, events and BBQs are actively encouraged.
