Gretton is a very homely grade II listed Manor House built in the mid-1800s providing accommodation for 20 individuals. Bedrooms are spread across 3 floors and there is a stair lift available for individuals with limited mobility. The service also benefits from a landscaped garden to the rear of the property with spectacular views across the Welland valley.
Individuals we support are encouraged to help with the upkeep of the garden and attend the nearby local allotment where they can grow their own vegetables. Our friendly, supportive team take pride in encouraging individuals to develop their daily living skills, such as cleaning their rooms and helping out in the kitchen to prepare healthy snacks.
There’s always lots to do around Gretton especially in the large activity room where the focus is on fun and inclusion. Activities include arts and crafts, music and dance classes, music workshops, drama classes and much more.
Individuals can enjoy the cinema, bowling, swimming and the gym in the nearby town of Corby and try new hobbies and experiences such as horse riding. They are also encouraged to attend work placements or volunteer at local charity shops and attend courses at the local college as they gain more independence.

Gretton House has been my daughters home for the last seven years and has been a lifesaver. The staff are caring, supportive and also welcoming when we visit. My daughter has never been as happy and settled. The house is always spotlessly clean. The food is always perfectly balanced and freshly prepared for their dietary needs. They are experts in the care and management of people with this very complex and life-threatening condition.Mother of supported individual - October 2017

Our daughter has been there for several months now and it extremely happy and content.
Initially, the distance between us was a great problem but we are pleased that she is happy and has settled in nicely with her peers and the staff.
We are in constant touch by phone with her and sometimes the staff. They too are pleased by the progress she has made in such a short period of time.Mother of supported individual - September 2017
