Support is provided with daily living skills such as cooking and cleaning to help individuals develop greater confidence and independence. They are also encouraged to participate in the running of the home and to have their own areas of responsibility.

Being very close to Bedford Town Centre, individuals who live at De Parys enjoy active social lives and the many leisure facilities Bedford has to offer.

Some people enjoy voluntary and paid work opportunities or attend local college courses to learn additional vocational skills.

Visits from family and friends are always welcome and the home is very accessible for local transport links and is within walking distance to the town.
