The team are very experienced in supporting people who have challenging and complex needs, ensuring they have a meaningful and active life.

This bright, modern home is spread across three floors and has large, well maintained gardens.

Providing a happy, friendly, supportive atmosphere and a person centred approach, the team focus on promoting choices and decision making.

Individuals fully participate in the planning of activities within the home and the running of the home to improve daily living skills and gain greater independence.

Where challenging behaviours are present, the team work with our in-house Positive Behaviour Intervention team who provide dedicated strategies.

Close to the social and leisure facilities of Feltham – trips are arranged to the shops, library, leisure centre, swimming pool, gym and parks and individuals are also supported to go to college part time to improve and learn new skills.

The home has excellent links with Speak Out in Hounslow, a charity who work with adults with learning disabilities where we have undertaken gardening projects and forged links with local colleges.

Visits from friends and family as well as family days, fun days and BBQs are encouraged.

We are 95% compliant across inspectorate bodies, CQC, Ofsted, The Care Inspectorate Wales and The Scottish Care Inspectorate for residential and supported living care (Figure stated as at October 2022)

“As ever, the constructive comments of the CQC are welcomed and as reflected in the report, we have identified areas for improvement. We have an action plan in place and necessary improvements are being made.
We are pleased to note that CQC identified that 89a Hampton Road is caring, responsive and safe. They stated that the individuals we support are treated with kindness and respect and are offered choice about aspects of their daily lives.

We are also pleased to note that supported individuals’ relatives told CQC that they felt people were safe living at the service and that staff knew people using the service well and provided person-centred support in a positive and homely environment.

Our challenge is to ensure that we can consistently deliver and evidence that we are achieving the highest standards. The team at 89a Hampton Road are committed to every aspect of the services we provide being at a consistently high quality level. We look forward to welcoming the CQC on their return visit, at which time we are confident that improvements will be evidenced.”
