Some individuals may also have behaviours which others may find challenging.

There is a focus on providing lots of inclusive activities within the home – music therapy, aromatherapy sessions, dance and karaoke evenings and live entertainment for everyone to enjoy if they wish and the opportunity to tend the allotment at the service.

Every individual has their own tailored person-centred plan outlining their goals and aspirations and the activities and interests they wish to also pursue outside of the home. These person-centred support plans are regularly reviewed and updated with each individual and their key worker.

There is easy access to public transport (rail and bus networks) to nearby Hounslow and its shopping, leisure and social activities including bowling, a cinema, cafes and swimming pool.

With a seven seater vehicle on site, the team ensures that everyone can do the things they enjoy and have choices open to them. Visits from family and friends is a big part of life at the home.

Great importance is placed on helping individuals learn new skills and take an active interest in the running of the home, including shopping and cooking. This helps improve daily living skills and confidence and allows people to have their own responsibilities as well as their own hobbies and interests.
