A virtual race around the world at PWS service Gretton House
December 1, 2020
With the seasons changing and the cold, (and wet!) autumn weather upon us, the team at our specialist Prader-Willi Syndrome service, Gretton House in Corby, Northants, got together with the individuals they support to come up with some new creative ways to continue to keep fit and active!
As we all know exercise can become a little dull when it is the same thing
over and over again, so the team have introduced ‘virtual races’ an innovative fitness initiative that is not only lots of fun but also allows individuals to add some variety to their exercise by racing to new and interesting locations.
The initiative was not only fun, but helped support weight control and where overeating and weight gain is a big part of PWS as a condition.
