‘True Colours’ Art Club to host charity art exhibition
A charity art exhibition run by the 89 Hampton Road ‘True Colours’ Art Club is due to take place next week in nearby Feltham.
The exhibition, which takes place on Thursday 11th September, will run from 4pm to 8pm at The Royal British Legion in Cross Road and is open for anyone to attend.
As well as the art on show, the club will be presenting local Mayor, Councillor Corinna Smart, with a special portrait during the evening. For those inspired by the art on show, there will be an opportunity to take part in an interactive art workshop as well as refreshments and a raffle, with all proceeds from the event going to their hosts for the evening, the Royal British Legion.
Daniel Dzikowski, Service Manager of 89 / 89a Hampton Road, said:
‘The people we support have worked hard preparing for this exhibition and they are very proud of their artwork. We would really like to see members of the local community at the event, as there will even be an opportunity to take part in an art workshop.
‘Due to the astonishing success of the club within Consensus, the art club is planning to provide these open art sessions to anyone who would like to explore the subject and have some fun.
‘We would also like to pass on our sincere thanks to our hosts for the evening – the Royal British Legion, who have enabled us to make this exhibition possible.’
