Team Leader at Kingston House hailed as good Samaritan

January 24, 2014

Robert Griffin became a local pensioner’s hero recently when he found his lost wallet in Westcliff.  35 year old Robert, a Team Leader at Kingston House in Leigh-On-Sea discovered the wallet, containing £60 cash as well as bank and store cards, outside a supermarket.

Using the address on the driving license he returned it to its rightful owner later that evening. Bill Cann, 83, was thrilled, stating ‘I think it’s a fantastic thing for somebody to do. It’s nice to know there are still some nice people out there.’

Bill insisted on rewarding Robert with £20 and a jar of homemade marmalade for his good deed.
