Vrynwy Academy offers accommodation for individuals with learning disabilities. There are four en-suite bedrooms and a self contained flat with its own kitchen and living area. Vyrnwy is a large detached property overlooking the river Vyrnwy. There is a lounge, dining room, activities room, kitchen and sensory room. Situated in a small rural village, Vyrnwy provides people using the service with the benefits of living in a rural setting without losing access to the local facilities available in the nearby towns. Individuals are supported in the promotion of their independence when shopping locally, attending medical appointments, visiting local pubs, accessing therapies and using local transport. A number of organised activities are enjoyed by individuals; organised walks and rambles in the surrounding hills and valleys, scrambling, abseiling, canoeing, cycling and nature walks.
