Ty Machen offers a specialist service for individuals with learning disabilities, autism spectrum condition and associated complex needs. The staff team are skilled and knowledgeable in supporting people who present a challenge to the service.

There are six bedrooms, all are en suite. The property is a large bungalow surrounded by beautiful grounds. Ty Machen offers an open plan kitchen/diner, large lounge, sensory/relaxation room and a further quiet room. The sun terrace surrounds the outside of the building. Ty Machen is situated in the small village of Machen, ten minutes from Caerphilly and fifteen minutes from Newport. Individuals are encouraged to access local facilities as much as possible including, swimming, bowling, cinema visits, eating out, work placements and attending college. People using the service become involved in cooking and general household duties. There is a large garden with a vegetable plot where individuals can take part in planting vegetables.
