Rubix Night Club Experience
People we support have been enjoying a thrilling night club experience courtesy of Rubix Night Club in Corby. The event takes place every 6 weeks and is attended by people we support from Gretton House and Homes as well as others from Consensus services and others with a learning disability from the surrounding area.
Organiser Bonnie Ghavami, daughter of Gretton Homes’ longest serving employee and Operations Manager Gail Ghavami, approached the club who were delighted to help and the event has quickly become a firm favourite with those we support.
Myles Kelly – Prader-Willi Syndrome Liaison Officer Consensus said;
“Another great event last night attracting a large crowd with several new faces. Great to see such an inclusive event also involving several adults in wheelchairs clearly also enjoying the sensory experience the night club event brings.”
Rubix is Northamptonshire’s newest nightclub venue catering for all dance music genres. Launched in 2012, Rubix has become a firm favourite with clubbers across the county, including now many from Consensus, regularly reaching sell out capacity for its prestigious Saturday night sessions.
People we support from Gretton House, Simon and Jennie were already asking before the last night had finished when the next even would be! Speaking with others from Gretton House, including Simon, Bethany, Kim, Jennie & Kerry, said it was “brilliant”, and “really good, can’t wait for the next one!”
